Intelligent Search

Advanced search features mean you'll never struggle to find a single piece of your company's information:

• Search for stock by reference, description, supplier, barcode, location or another user-defined product group.
• Search for customers or suppliers by reference, name, or location and more, and search for prospects by action date.

Example: search for all suppliers with ENCO in their name, who are based in Hampshire

Full drill-down capabilities:

In Encore, users can 'drill' into information simply by clicking the words displayed on screen, creating an organic working environment and reducing the amount of searching needed.

Example: From a supplier search, view all of the products from that supplier, and drill-down to view more detailed information on a particular product.

The resulting product information window will include a list of all sales of that product - double click one of the sales orders to drill-down and view all information, including gross and net value, despatch date, and customer.

Drill-down further to reveal the customer information window, and call the customer with a double-click to arrange further orders.

Reductive search:

Encore takes the frustration out of searching by automatically reducing search terms. If a search returns no matches, repeated attempts are made to search on ever-reducing details.

Example: if ENCO is typed in but did not match anything, Encore will look for ENC, then EN, and finally just E. If any of these produces one or more matches, the search stops and the results are shown.

Personalised views:

Search results appear as grids containing various fields such as reference, name, etc. The standard view is the Dynamic view, but personalised views can be quickly created and saved.

By creating personalised views, users control what information is shown in the results window, and in what order. From the results window, dril-down into any of the information to quickly reveal more detail.

Views can be activated when searching via a drop-down box.

Example: View all products with a reference beginning with 123, and show all cost prices, followed by standard selling prices, followed by discounted selling prices.
